Here is my view about the Da Vinci Code by Dan Brown..

**Suspense Thriller : 

As we can say that thriller and suspense movies are virtually synonymous and interchangeable categorizations with the help of similar characteristics and features. Suspense always gives something new and unexpected.  Films having a lot of suspense and same suspense and thriller also there in the Da Vinci Code.

**Yes, I read one of Sidney Sheldon's book ARE YOU AFRAID OF THE DARK? It is the story where Two women , the widows of two of the dead -- find themselves under ruthless attack and are drawn together in fear, confusion and for mutual protection like that as we can say that the women could not be more different, and it is about the two of the victims.ARE YOU AFRAID OF THE DARK is Sheldon at the top of his form

**Conspiracy Theory: 

It is a belief that some covert but influential organization is responsible for an unexplained event. It is a event or set of different circumstances as the result of a secret plot by usually powerful conspirators.

**Conspiracy Fiction:  

A common theme in such works is that characters uncovering the conspiracy encounter difficulty ascertaining the truth amid the deceptions like rumors, lies and all.

**Mary Magdalene's story is generally linked with Jesus. She just plays very important role in one of the most powerful and important scenes in the Gospels. When Jesus is crucified by the Romans, Mary Magdalene was there supporting him in his final terrifying moments. She also discovers the empty tomb, and she is a witness to the resurrection. She was there at the beginning of a movement that was going to transform the West. But the Mary Magdalene that lives in our memories is quite different. Mary Magdalene is considered a saint by the Roman Catholic. For this point i collect many information from this page..

**Feminine sacredness: 

The Sacred Feminine is mostly used in Dan Brown's The Da Vinci Code. The concept of a sacred feminine is that there was a matriarchal culture in early religions and Christian church under Constantine attempted to crush it. I read in somewhere that Wherever Christianity has been introduced, it has lifted up women, not just in antiquity but even in modern times, and it is the concept of women where life-bringer was the foundation of ancient religion and feminine views are also there.

**Symbology : Symbology it is the study of symbols and Symbology concerns the study of symbols. In this novel there are many symbols and they have there own value.

** Sarcophagus : A sarcophagus is an above ground stone container for a coffin or dead body that often is decorated with art, inscriptions, and carvings. The word sarcophagus comes from the Greek "sarx" meaning "flesh," and "phagien" meaning "to eat," so that sarcophagus, literally translates as "eater of flesh.

**  Merovingian Dynasty : The term “Merovingian” is said to derive from Merovee who was King of the Franks and ruled the Franks for nearly 300 years in a region known as Francia in Latin, beginning in the middle of the 5th century AD.

** Opus Dei : Opus Dei is an institution of the Roman Catholic Church that teaches that everyone is called to holiness and that ordinary life is a path to sanctity. We can say that Opus Dei has been described as the most controversial force within the Catholic Church.

**  Priory : Dan Brown begins The Da Vinci Code with a page labeled "Fact," on which he describes the Priory of Sion. The Priory is Brown's central focus of conspiracy, power, wealth, and historical significance. In truth, the Priory was a club created in 1956 by Pierre Plantard, who later testified under oath that he had fabricated the entire hoax. The actual society existed only in the novel and in the mind of the late Pierre Plantard.

 ** Constantine – and his role : The Roman emperor Constantine the Great plays a significant role in The Da Vinci Code. In which "the Vatican" and Constantine  together to suppress the sacred feminine and the human Jesus in order to preserve their own power.

Yes, 

novel leads us into critical thinking. As we can say that The Da Vinci Code, celebrates critical thinking over the rigid dogma of the Catholic Church. I read somewhere about Brown's quote from his  lecture was this: “It is critical that we live without malice, that we educate ourselves, and that we ask difficult questions, and above all, we engage in dialogue especially with those whose ideas are not our own.”  The answer is plainly Yes, that The Da Vinci Code is anti-Christian.The  Story related and described fundamental truths of the Christian faith--and of faith in general. According to "Da Vinci," early Christianity had a strong beliefs about Jesus, Mary Magdalene, and the nature of God himself.
