Waiting For Godot

My Views about Waiting For Godot..

>> " Longing " about this painting and  Hope , desire both are there in
this play.. I read somewhere that the moon as expressed in  poetry,
literature, philosophy, and music so in this painting moon is very
symbolical and also wee see that Both figures are seen from the back so that the viewer can participate
in their bond with nature.. In this
play Vladimir and Estragon both are waiting for Godot so we can say
that Waiting for something or someone it is also related with one type of hope or desire..

>>The tree is the only important ‘thing’ in the setting... Here i like to
say that.."  The change in the tree is fully appreciated and it is very
symbolical.. " In Act one  the tree has no leaves it shows nothingness or hopeless kind of thing.. In short It is a symbol of nature and of life.
About Night and Rising Moon.. Night is the symbol of death and it is also one type of hope for new day, piece and hope..

>>Existentialism ..
it is a term and Existentialism is a probably most well known philosophical movement which emphasizes on individual existence, freedom, and choices. It is all about also one type of Existence..  that why human being exist??  Absurd Theater .. The term ‘Theater of Absurd’ was coined by Martin Esslin in his essay ‘The Theater of Absurd’. Vladimir and Estragon both are waiting for someone called Godot who doesn't come and both are follow same routine everyday like come and stand under a tree, and another side Lucky and Pozzo comes like master and slave and after that when asked by Vladimir and Estragon, he says that he’s the brother of boy.. Thus Beckett probably wants to say that the absurdity in man’s life makes him incapable of performing something new..

Thank you..
